Terms of Service

Effective date: 11 September 2026. These Terms govern UMI AI's website, dashboards, reports, alerts, and subscriptions. By using the Service, you agree to them.

1. What UMI AI provides

UMI AI provides automated market information, economic commentary, charts, and analysis. It is general information, not investment advice, personal financial advice, portfolio management, brokerage, trade execution, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or use a financial product.

Content may be late, incomplete, incorrect, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances. A score, rating, confidence level, forecast, or scenario is not a promise of an outcome. Markets can lose value. You alone decide whether to act and should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.

2. Accounts and use

You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract. Keep your account information accurate and your credentials secure. Do not copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, bypass access controls, share confidential content, or use the Service for high-risk decisions such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, medical, or legal determinations.

3. Plans, checkout, and renewal

Before payment, checkout must show the total plan price, applicable taxes or how they are calculated, billing interval, automatic renewal, cancellation method, delivery method, and any voluntary refund window. If immediate digital access can affect a statutory withdrawal right, checkout will obtain the required express request and acknowledgement separately.

Recurring plans renew until cancelled. You may cancel through the account controls or by contacting contact@umi.report. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and leaves access until the paid period ends.

4. Refunds, suspension, and closure

Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Voluntary refund offers are limited to one qualifying customer and are not reset by creating multiple accounts. We may use proportionate account, transaction, access, delivery, and security records to prevent abuse, without removing mandatory legal rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security, fraud, unlawful use, or material breach. If we permanently discontinue a paid Service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and honour applicable refund rights.

5. Intellectual property

UMI AI and its licensors retain rights in the Service, software, design, reports, databases, trademarks, and methods. We grant a limited licence for personal or internal business use subject to your plan. You retain rights in material you submit and allow us to process it to operate and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Liability and law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted access, profitability, or suitability. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limit, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, market losses, or decisions made using the Service. Any lawful liability cap is the amount paid for the Service in the previous 12 months.

Georgia law governs these Terms without removing mandatory consumer protections in your habitual residence. Courts in Tbilisi have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Contact contact@umi.report first, but you may contact any competent authority or court.

Privacy Policy

We do not ask for portfolio holdings, bank-login credentials, payment-card security codes, health data, biometric data, or other special-category data. Please do not send them.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to create and secure accounts, provide reports, process payments, prevent fraud, answer support requests, maintain and improve the Service, comply with law, and send optional promotional email where permitted. Under GDPR-style rules, the bases are contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent for optional marketing or tracking where required. You may withdraw consent or object as the law allows.

3. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with contracted infrastructure, security, database, email, customer-support, payment, delivery, or analytics services; professional advisers; authorities where required; and a successor in a business transaction. Providers may change, and we use the transfer mechanism required by the applicable law, such as adequacy, approved safeguards, a lawful exception, or consent where lawful.

4. Cookies and retention

We use first-party cookies for sign-in, security, consent choices, and display preferences. Optional site statistics are off until the required consent is given. We do not use advertising pixels, personalised advertising profiles, or marketing cookies. See Cookie Policy.

Account data is kept while active and normally up to 30 days after deletion; security logs normally up to 12 months; support records normally up to 3 years; and transaction records for the period required by tax, accounting, or other law. We delete or anonymise data when no longer needed.

5. Rights and security

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, marketing opt-out, withdrawal of consent, and information about relevant automated processing. Email contact@umi.report. We may verify identity and respond within the period required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. If a personal-data incident occurs, we assess it and notify regulators and affected people when required by law. Reports may be generated by automated systems, but we do not use them to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, health care, education, or legal rights.

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We send optional promotional email only where permitted and provide an unsubscribe method in each message.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 11 September 2026. This Policy does not limit a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Cancellation

Cancel recurring plans through the account controls or by emailing contact@umi.report. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal; it does not by itself refund unused days.

2. Voluntary 14-day refund

Unless checkout provides a better plan-specific term, a first-time paid subscriber may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the first purchase only before accessing, downloading, copying, exporting, or materially consuming paid report content. Because a report can be copied immediately, any access to paid content ends this voluntary refund offer.

This offer is one per customer, not one per email address or account. We may compare proportionate account, transaction, access, delivery, and security records to identify linked accounts or repeated refund attempts. This rule does not deny statutory withdrawal, duplicate-charge, error, fraud, or legal-conformity remedies.

3. Statutory withdrawal

Some locations provide a cooling-off or withdrawal period, commonly 14 days. The period, formalities, and exceptions depend on the consumer's location and the Service. Where permitted, immediate digital access will begin only after the required express request and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right may be lost. Access alone is not treated as a universal waiver.

Send an unequivocal withdrawal request to contact@umi.report. Where a refund is due, we process it within the period required by law and use the original payment method where required and practicable.

4. Errors, closure, and payment method

We correct duplicate or clearly erroneous charges. If we close or materially reduce a paid Service, we provide any legally required remedy and, where appropriate, a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid access. Temporary unavailability, delayed reports, AI errors, or market losses do not automatically create a refund right.

Refunds normally use the original method and currency. For non-reversible payment methods, the lawful refund method and valuation will follow the checkout terms and will be explained before processing.

5. Local rights

Consumers in Georgia, the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, the United States, Brazil, the UAE, and elsewhere retain mandatory cancellation, conformity, refund, renewal, and dispute rights that apply to them. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is not listed because it has been discontinued.
